Hydro excavation.
Dig without breaking
what's buried.
Our hydro vac truck uses pressurized water and vacuum to move soil — so utilities get exposed, not severed. Available across the Twin Cities Metro Area by the hour, to contractors, municipalities and utilities.

Water digs.
The truck hauls it away.
A hydro vac uses a high-pressure water lance to cut soil into slurry, then vacuums that slurry into an onboard debris tank. Nothing mechanical touches the ground.
That matters most where something is already buried. A backhoe bucket can't tell the difference between clay and a fiber trunk line. Water can — which is why utilities, municipalities and general contractors specify hydro excavation for daylighting and any dig near live services.
It also digs frozen ground, works through a 4-inch access hole, and leaves a clean hole instead of a torn-up yard.
Our own trucks will haul any and all debris. Nothing is left on site and nothing waits on a subcontractor's schedule.

Where hydro vac
is the right call
Daylighting & potholing
Exposing buried gas, electric, fiber and water lines without touching them. Where a bucket risks a strike, water doesn't.
Slot trenching
Narrow, clean trenches for utility runs — far less restoration afterward than open-cut.
Frozen ground
Heated water cuts frost that stops conventional digging. Work keeps moving through a Minnesota winter.
Sewer, catch basin & sump cleanout
Vacuuming out storm structures, catch basins, wet wells and lift stations.
Tight and sensitive access
Around root systems, inside fenced yards, near foundations and finished landscaping. Remote hose reaches where the truck can't park.
Post, pile & pole holes
Clean vertical holes with no spoil pile and no collateral damage to the surrounding grade.
